The TAC STORY

My name is Thomas (TAC). I am 11 years old.

I live on a farm near Mt Torrens which is about

46kms East, North East of Adelaide.

During the 2019 Cudlee Creek fires approximately

70% of our family farm was  burnt.

12.5 km of fencing was destroyed.

After the fires when Dad was cutting up the

burnt fence posts for fire wood, he cut a

small piece of wood and gave it to me, thats

when I thought I could drill a hole in the top

of it and put a candle in it.

How the candle holders are made:
That is when I decided to make candle holders out of the burnt fence posts, with the help of my bother Josh.  The fence posts are cut into lengths, the top of the wood is sanded and a hole is drilled for the candle.  The wood on the top is painted with a natural oil for a professional finish.

I then started making them for family and friends.  Then I thought I could sell them.

The candle holders are made out of red and blue gum fence posts.

Every candle holder is different and unique.

I  created a brand after my full name and designed the stamp TAC.
